Born in 1966 in Wolfratshausen, Germany, she is the third daughter of Nikolaus and Gene.
She has two elder brothers, Timothy and James.
She went to school in Geretsried and then did a one year nurse assistance course at the Kreiskrankenhaus in Wolfratshausen.
In 1997 she took a course in software management and is now working part-time for a company in Wolfratshausen.

with Robert Schreier and Nicola has two daughters:
