Allan Macleod discovered the following during his framily research:
About FRANK MUENSCHER
….In 1890 Mr. Muenscher was married to Miss Anna Hilgenberg, who also was born in Hessen-Cassel, Germany, a daughter of Conrad and Augusta (Gerhold) Hilgenberg, the former of whom was a farmer and a butcher, and both of whom died in their native land.
David Hilgenberg Neto, from Brazil has got in touch. He’s looking - as we all are - for information on the Hilgenbergs. He is 29, born on 2nd September 1974. His grandmother was German and called Frida Justus Hilgenberg. She died in 1990 aged 92. His grandfather was David Hilgenberg Sobrinho.
Was I pleased last night when my guys got home? Well today I paid for it! I knew something was up and when the basket appeared from the loft my fears were confirmed. Before I had time to think I was bundled into it and we were off… off to my favourite friend… The doc was very complimentary about me but it didn’t stop her shoving a needle into me and making me eat a horrid tablet! Back now and everything seems to have calmed down a little.
They’ve come back… finally. T&C had been away for four days and while our neighbour Phil is kind enough to look after me, it’s not the same as having my guys around! At least they are back.
Sorry I’ve not added an entry for so long, but it’s been a busy old summer and it’s been quite hot. Not a lot had been happening until today. There I was all happy and dandy one minute and the next I was alone. Seems C&T had just upped sticks and left. I’d only popped out for a minute and when I got back they were gone… and unlike normally they didn’t get back in the evening either…
