The Hilgenbergs of the Washington DC area have lost a relative, on October 16th 2003, Ethel Louis Ayres died. She was the daughter of Louis (Hilgenberg) Divver. Louise is the daughter of William Hilgenberg of Mersengen and Anna Steisel. She will be truly missed.
Having had a good snooze I felt it was time to pop out for a breath of fresh air… only to find when I wanted to get back in that I couldn’t! The door just wouldn’t open… There was nothing for it but visit the neighbours until the other guys got home. They would be able to unlock the door and let me back in. They did get back eventually and “all’s well that ends well”. It was a bit of a shock though.
