A new toy - a tree indoors
Its turned cold outside. I don’t really mind, and the fun time seems to last longer. I’ve got a new toy! It’s a huge tree with lots of shiny things on it. Balls on string, silvery string things. Oh what fun it is to try and knock them off. Some of the things on the tree roll around when the fall off the tree.
Dangerous critters, but I’m around to protect the other people. Those balls are cunning, the fall of the tree and pretend to be dead, but I know they are only trying to fool every one. I keep a watchful eye on them and jump on them every once in a while just to show them who is boss.
The other people, too, seem to have respect from them, because when they see one of the ball things on the floor they get put back on the tree.
