Another Hilgenberg link has come through: Brian Rodman. Having traced his family he discovered a man called Daniel Hillenberg who apparently was a Hessian soldier in the pay of King George III fighting in the American Revolution, however his military records show him as Daniel Hilgenberg from R�nfurt, near Melsungen - where the castle is.
