Mark Hilgenberg
Mark Hilgenberg writes, his branch of the Hilgenberg family came to the USA from Russia in 1917.
His family had originally moved to Russia in the 1760s from what today is Germany. He suggests there still is a branch of the Hilgenbergs in Russia today and numbers could go past the 1800 mark.
